Depression can be 

debilitating.

With depression, the simple act of getting out of bed can be a challenge, or for others, it may manifest as a sheer lack of joy or other feelings. It can manifest in changes in appetite or eating habits, extreme fatigue or irritability, sexual dysfunction, changes in self- perception and world-perception, sleep pattern interruption, negative self- talk, and sadness or lack of feelings.

 

Depression makes the sheer act of looking for help seem almost impossible, yet you’ve already taken your first step. You are not alone, and whether it is with myself or someone else, let me take this time to celebrate your choice to seek out help. You deserve a life free of depression.
